Where East Coast Grit Meets Southern Charm

Born from NYC roots and blended with Arlington’s vibrant brunch scene, Bay34th Street Diner brings bold flavor with a touch of class—without the luxury price tag.

It all started with hustle and heart. Tim, a proud Brooklyn native, left school early to help support his family, getting his start bussing tables at a small diner on the corner of Bay Avenue and 34th Street.

From humble beginnings as a busser to mastering the line as a cook, and eventually launching his own food cart, Tim made his mark with crave-worthy Italian-American street eats.

Now in Arlington, he’s serving up that same East Coast soul—infused with Southern warmth—at Bay34th Street Diner. It’s comfort food with character, served with heart.

Tim's Story

Tim's story is nothing less than a story of dream, vision, hard work, attitude, creativity and dedication. In short , the story of The American dream.

Tim grew up on the streets of Brooklyn. Although he was good in school, due to financial hardship to support his family Tim dropped out of school and started bussing tables at a local restaurant at the junction of Bay Ave and 34th Street. By that age, Tim knew the value of hard work and a positive attitude. While working at a local pizza joint Tim moved up in the ladder from busser to dishwasher to line cook to pizza cook. Tim realized that his creativity in culinary sciences and understanding of the complexity of taste, food and spices would lead him to explore the field of culinary arts.

Later Tim was able to accumulate enough savings to put together a food cart. He tirelessly rode the cart from Brooklyn to Manhattan via little Italy, where he shared is Italian American inspired cuisines on the streets of Broadway.

His vision, attitude, hard work and focus paid off and he finally was able to stand on his feet financially. He wanted to spread his culinary experiences from the north east to the southern states of America, specifically to Texas, which he now calls home. Tim along with his partner has owned multiple successful eateries from Pizzeria chains across the U.S. , to upscale Italian Cucinas and every other concept in between.

While his business expanded in different states he was able to help multiple people and employees to grow with the organization.
